Brendan has considerable experience acting for both the building owner and adjoining owner under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
Acting for the building owner intending to carry out works under the Act Brendan will serve and deal with any legal notices, prepare schedules of condition of adjoining properties and agree party wall awards.
Whilst acting for the adjoining owner, he will ensure that they are properly represented under the Act and deal with any issues that arise. Brendan will work with the architect or engineer to ensure that any structural work is carried out in accordance with the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, having regard to the adjoining properties.
Brendan will apply his expertise across a range of projects from smaller residential projects to larger commercial projects.
Past projects include dealing with party wall and related neighbourly issues arising on a large Manchester Shopping Centre project, a historic town centre redevelopment in the North West and a landmark redevelopment in central London. Current projects include development sites in Moreton in Marsh and Solihull town centre.
